| In 1982, Peter D Burton opened his first yard at Stepney Lane, Hull. Having worked for roofing manufacturers since he was 18, at only 27 years of age he already had a wealth of experience in the industry. The family business then progressed at a rapid rate. With a busy team of approximately 100 staff behind him, Peter's venture today boasts 8 depots with a 35million turnover. In 2008, CUPA of Spain took an interest in the company & took the major share holding of the business. This new partnership formed the Cupa - Burton Group which operates branches today in England & Scotland. The key factor to the group's growth continues to be price, service & stocks. Holding over 4million of specialist roofing materials on the ground and with a fleet of over 35 trucks, Burton Roofing Ltd certainly has a distinct edge over the competition.
