Couldn't wish for more at Moreby

JM Butler Builders of York are celebrating the ultimate recognition for their recent Moreby conversion project.

The courtyard renovation had to be sympathetically restored in order to fulfil the high end bespoke specification required by the client.

The York Guild of Building awarded the site for its craftsmanship for the new slate roof to the existing cottage near Escrick. Burton Roofing worked in conjunction with the principle contractor and specified a CUPA natural Spanish slate. The photos demonstrate how effective they work against the elevations that kept the original Welsh slates. There wasn't the opportunity to salvage enough of the original slates and stone ridges so the introduction of new versions on carefully selected pitches was the solution.

The slater Robert Lawton of York used his years of skilled experience to provide a first class finished roof for this superb development at the south of the city. Well done to all parties involved!
