Roof windows are a great way to bring loads of natural light, fresh air, and good ventilation to a bathroom. But adding a VELUX blind makes them even better! Whether you’re relaxing in the bathtub with a glass of wine or getting ready for the day, a blind allows you to adjust incoming light and increase privacy.

When choosing a blind for a bathroom, it needs to be robust and reliable to suit the humid conditions. The VELUX Venetian blind is the best blind for the job. Designed especially for VELUX roof windows, it’s easy to fit, comes in a range of colours, and is made for long-lasting performance. Let’s take a closer look…

VELUX Venetian blind

The VELUX Venetian blind has the classic good looks of Venetian blinds in a low maintenance, moisture-resistant package. With a sleek design, it’s made from water-resistant aluminium and is easy to clean. The blind has 35 mm wide lacquered aluminium slats that run in sleek side channels made of anodised aluminium, which prevent light from passing in around the edges.

Unlike traditional Venetian blinds, the VELUX Venetian blind has no visible cords. It’s adjusted by using the control bar that’s attached to the bottom of the blind - simply grab the control bar and raise or lower it. You can also tilt the slats and adjust the direction of incoming light by sliding the tilting grip up or down.

For bathroom windows in less easy to reach spots, there are rod controls, rod extension pieces, and rod adaptors available.

The VELUX Venetian blind comes in nine classic colours, so it's easy to find one to suit your bathroom decor. It also comes with a 3-year guarantee.

Stylish, practical and easy to install

It’s quick and easy to install VELUX Venetian blinds in a bathroom. With the VELUX Pick&Click!™ system, you simply click the top of the VELUX blind into the brackets and mount the side rails and you’ll be ready to go.
