'Meet The Team' Livingston

Livingston the home of our Houstoun Industrial Estate depot. It is currently seeing an unprecedented boom branch manager Eddie McNeill explains "we are growing month on month and our staffing levels have recently increased to 11”

The depot currently operates two Hiab vehicles, a Cabstar, and an Astra van . The fleet covers an 80-mile radius and beyond, using numerous outside hauliers. Having such a large radius is quite rare but is very much a necessity to our Scottish branches.

“This often means we lose a truck for a day on one single run, our transport management has to be on the ball getting timings to the dot."

The team carries more than 100 years experience in the construction industry with branch manager Eddie having 49 years trade knowledge alone.

"At Livingston, all of the staff are 100% sales driven and our customers return again and again. This is due to our high service levels in turning people around and equally the availability of a particular roofing product."

The Livingston depot has dominant sales in the slate market and is the largest seller of natural slate in the Burton Roofing group. This is due to the fact of the high specification and close working relationship we have with Cupa Pizarras in the Scottish region.

In recent times, Livingston has enjoyed excellent growth in innovative products such as Hertalan single ply and Catnic SSR2  metal sheeting products . The branch offers exceptional training facilities and is used on a regular basis by numerous suppliers.
