Newcastle is a region that speaks for itself with some of its most celebrated cultural icons being Newcastle United Football Club, world renowned Brown Ale and much to the irritation of true locals the T.V show Geordie shore!
The vicinity has an estimated population of over one million people and is currently seeing a construction upturn with the area forecasted to grow by an annual rate of 1.5% over the next five years.
Tyne and Wear is a region that draws its heritage from the coal and ship building industries and has also given birth to some of the UK’s highly influential inventions; the miner’s safety lamp from George Stephenson, William Armstrong the inventor of a hydraulic crane lived in Cragside Hall which was the first house to be powered by electricity. It is also claimed that Mosley Street, in the centre of Newcastle, was the first street in the world to have electric street lighting.
The Depot which sits on Benton Square Industrial Estate is 1.3 Acres in size and has a large warehouse. The Main office block has numerous VELUX windows installed including the VELUX Cabrio and balcony systems which can be viewed by all our customers and architects.
The transport team look after a fleet of 5 delivery vehicles, delivering 6 days a week, aiming to fulfil all of our customers’ needs with an aimed next day off-loading service.
Branch Manager Paul Dagless has been with company since 2002 as assistant Manager before being promoted to Manager in 2014.

Indeed it’s interesting to see how the types of products sold has changed over the years. Though still heavily focussed on traditional Roofing products there is an increasing rise in sales of innovative products such as GrufeKit green roofs, Actis Hybrid insulation, EPDM’s and GRP roof systems.
Supporting Paul is a sixteen-member strong team who have extensive experience within the roofing industry, most of whom have over ten years within the industry sector.
When visiting the Newcastle Branch, you can not help but notice the great customer service. The team is a great lively bunch who will most certainly give you some banter but will ensure you leave the Depot with a smile.
