Woodford Farmhouse and Barn

The Farmhouse with the attached barn was to be renovated throughout. The client wanted a stylish Zinc standing seam finish to the vertical sections of the barn as well as the roof, and consulted Burton Roofing Stockport to help out.

One of our trusted suppliers, Comax Roofs supplied their Aluminium Klik system in an anthracite textured finish which has a 50-year warranty. Steel was also available but they wanted the longevity of a long warranty that came with the Aluminium.

Not only is Klik a very easy system to fit, which saved massively on labour, it also offered a great saving versus an actual Zinc finish. The VELUX window was easily fitted with the complementing EDQ flashing kit that is pre-formed specifically for standing seam roofs.

Suitable for the walls as well as the roof, the system went on easily and effectively and the client was very pleased with the final look, which looks as stunning as a zinc look standing seam system.
