Burton Roofing Merchants is led by an experienced senior team with deep knowledge of the roofing industry, multi-branch operations and people development. Together they guide our national network of 37 branches and support customers across England, Scotland and Wales.
Ian Leigh – Managing Director
Ian leads Burton Roofing Merchants with a clear focus on long-term growth, customer service and operational excellence. Under his leadership the business continues to expand its branch network while maintaining the high standards of service that local contractors and builders rely on.
Jon Smith – Operations Director
Jon oversees the day-to-day running of the business across all 37 branches. He is responsible for ensuring consistent service standards, efficient logistics and strong operational performance so that customers receive the same high level of support wherever they are in the UK.
Martin Armour – Commercial Director
Martin drives commercial strategy across the business. Working closely with the Category Managers and Key Account Managers, he focuses on product range, supplier partnerships, competitive pricing and helping customers access the right materials and support for their projects.
Caroline Jackson – HR Director
Caroline leads the people side of Burton Roofing Merchants and is responsible for recruitment, training, culture and supporting the development of our 350+ strong team, ensuring that every branch has the skilled and motivated people needed to deliver excellent service.
Supporting Customers Across the UK
Our senior leadership team works closely with branch managers and the wider commercial team to ensure that customers — whether local contractors, national housebuilders or trade professionals — receive consistent, reliable support from their nearest Burton branch.
