Natural slate is a metamorphic rock formed over hundreds of millions of years.
Each piece is unique in texture and appearance, with technical properties that few other roofing materials can match.
It is durable, waterproof and colour-fast, with a working life of more than 100 years and little or no maintenance. It is 100% natural, produced without chemicals or treatments, and suitable for both traditional and contemporary roofs.
Burton Roofing supplies natural slate from three proven origins — Spain, Canada and Britain — so contractors and specifiers can match the right look, performance and planning requirement.
