General duties description:
We are seeking an experienced, stimulating, and supportive Branch Manager to oversee our daily branch activities focused on creating and implementing our Operational excellence standards whilst leading the development of the branch. To develop and execute a sales action plan that delivers above and beyond to achieve and strive to exceed sales and revenue targets on a monthly and annual basis. To meet our customer demands you will establish and maintain the correct stock levels. Through your team you will implement and enforce policies that ensure the health and safety and efficiency of the branch and is conversant with HSE policies and regulations. This includes enforcing policies in line with our internal operational guidelines. Our success is built on strong relationships with our colleagues and customers so it is essential you can coach and lead a team to deliver high standards. create staff schedules, discipline staff if necessary, and report to the Area Operations Manager. The ideal candidate has experience working in a management position in a busy branch or equivalent environment, can quickly switch gears to handle a range of duties and is proficient with the CRM and order management systems. - Work on a cycle of continuous improvement for the Operational plan.
- Analysing MI to ensure adherence to the operational plan objectives for the branch within remit.
- Working with the area operations managers to deliver on sales growth and EBITDA targets.
- Developing a culture of stock management and rotation that supports both EBITDA and working capital.
- Work alongside the commercial department integrating central purchase policies.
- PLAN FOR BRANCH, VEHICLE AND LOGISTICS ENSURING COMPLIANCE.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Full UK driving license
- Excel but not essential
